Pizza is bad. Soo bad. Pizza is evil.
*groan*
But, but, it's so delicious! But, but, I only had 3 bites!
*whimper*
The almost exact words of my brother's girlfriend standing next to me: "You know that's going to be good for like 20 minutes tops, then you'll be in pain for what, 2 days?". She sounded like my conscience.
I ignored her. And my conscience.
"Hello washroom my old friend... I've come to live in you again..."
Pizza bad.
*beep* *beep*
Cream of wheat is ready. Cream of wheat good. Good recovery food.
*sigh*
I don't even know you, but I'm feeling your pain!
ReplyDeleteI was diagnosed with Crohn's a couple of days ago, but have had it since 1999. Not fun, the worst part is the stomach cramps which only started happening two weeks ago.
By the way, we have the same blog background. *lol*
is Cream of Wheat really good for Crohn's sufferers? I'll have to try that... For now, I'm off to get some pizza (I love pizza). One last hurrah before the 24 hour liquid diet and sigmoidoscopy tomorrow.
*laughs* yes, Cream of Wheat is very good. I think it's high in iron too.
ReplyDeleteDon't get that pizza! Pizza bad! Actually to be serious, knowingly eating trigger foods is a bad idea. It can irritate your intestinal lining, worsening your symptoms. And the resultant diarrhea can dehydrate you and cause malnourishment. Resist! :)
